The Health & Safety of Our Patients and Team Comes First
It is our honor and privilege to take care of you and your family, and we take our commitment to your safety very seriously. We have been working diligently to stay up to date on recommendations from the CDC and OSHA, as well as the State of Colorado legal requirements and recommendations. As you will notice when you come in, we have made many changes around the office.
With this in mind, we are happy to share these additional steps we are taking to add peace-of-mind during your next visit. We are all in this together, and more than ever we look forward to seeing your smile!
Air Purification
We now have air purifiers located in each operatory and in two additional common areas in our office. These air purifiers each have a HEPA filter capable of filtering bacteria and viruses, along with other particles down to 0.1microns in size. These allow for complete room air turnover every 12 minutes.
CPR Training
Our team takes a day every other year to refresh our skills in CPR training, both with written examination and hands-on-training.
Advanced Staff Training
Every year our entire team participates in top level OSHA training to ensure we continue to provide our patients with the most up-to-date level of care. In addition, every team member participated in 4+ hours of additional training specific to COVID-19 precautions and new protocols to increase their knowledge and preparedness to provide the safest level of care.
Cleaning Between Every Appointment
This has been and continues to be our standard of care. All contacted/exposed surfaces in the treatment rooms are cleaned with a surface disinfectant that works against viruses, fungi and bacteria. In addition to this, we cover many of our surfaces with single-use protective barriers for added protection of harder to clean surfaces.
CDC-Approved Instrument Sterilization
This is also a standard procedure at all times. We sterilize our instruments in an autoclave which uses high heat and pressure to destroy even the most resistant bacteria, viruses, and fungi.
Advanced Chairside Suction
We have implemented additional chairside high-speed evacuation to minimize aerosols in both the doctor and hygiene rooms. Rubber dam isolation, isolite isolation, or Releaf system evacuation will be used whenever possible.
